Happy New Year! We hope you had a fantastic holiday season. We are excited to start the new year off by talking about the brand new 2022 Taycan. When the Taycan first came out there was some hesitation and doubt by many consumers. There were recalls early on and nobody really knew how it would match up against Tesla. However, Porsche has made the necessary adjustments to the Taycan and this years’ sales are projected to go through the roof. Let us take a look at what the 2022 Taycan has to offer.
This year there will be a new Taycan model. This being the new 590-hp GTS model that sports trim-specific details inside and out. This model will inherit performance equipment from the top-of-the line Taycan Turbo S. It will come with a unique chassis tuning and powertrain calibration for a distinct driving personality. What consumers are most excited about is that the Taycan will now be able to be parked remotely via smartphone!
The new 2022 Taycan will also come with the latest Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 6.0 infotainment system interface. Wireless Apple CarPlay with Apple Music and Apple Podcasts are part of that but what is brand new is Android Auto. Android Auto has never been offered in a Porsche before this 2022 Taycan!
Lastly, Porsche fanatics and enthusiasts will love that Porsche’s Paint to Sample (PTS) program is now available for the Taycan. This allows consumers to choose from nearly endless exterior colors, resulting in more individuality and customization options.
This Taycan is fantastic on roads within reach and Porsche has done a great job with this lineup. Base models of the 2022 Taycan start at $82,700. Do not wait as this is one of the hottest electric cars on the market.
