The Mercedes-Benz Museum is located in Stuttgart, Germany and this nine-level structure is home to 1,500 fascinating exhibits. The Mercedes-Benz Museum was founded in 2006 and has been a hot tourist spot since then. Today we are going to highlight some of the most interesting exhibits that live in this 16,500 square-foot museum.
The most recent and arguably the most interesting exhibit is the “Future Mobility”. According to Mercedes-Benz, this exhibit offers visions and tangible solutions along with interaction and knowledge. It is divided into the areas “excite”, “intuitive”, “energize”, and “responsible”. These topics range from highly advanced series to designs and concepts for the future.
If you are a history nut then the Master of Silver Arrows is an exhibit you will not want to miss. This exhibit contains numerous trophies won by Mercedes-Benz racing drivers. These trophies include trophies Rudolf Caracciola won. If you are unfamiliar with Rudolf Caracciola, he is known as a Mercedes-Benz racing champion. He won the European Grand Prix Championship in 1935, 1937, and 1938. These titles are comparable to today’s Formula 1 Championship.
Lastly, this is quite obvious but during your visit there will be no shortage of Mercedes-Benz cars! The countless cars on display are exhibits of their own! For example, collection rooms start with some of the oldest cars and you work your way down to much newer and even future Mercedes-Benz models. These rooms showcase milestone cars like their pivotal role in the invention of airbags.
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is a cool place to visit even if you are not a huge car fan. It is highly recommended and one of the busiest places in Stuttgart. Experience what Mercedes-Benz is all about at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. You will not be sorry!
