Mercedes-Benz has a long history of manufacturing luxury cars. They’ve found success all over the globe and for good reason. The three-pointed star has symbolized nothing but the best since the very beginning. Today we’re going to rewind to about a decade ago and highlight some of the best Mercedes-Benz’ that were released in the mid-late 2000s.
We’ll start with the Mercedes-Benz 2007-2009 E-Class. The original W211 version was released in the early 2000s but had some reliability issues. In 2007 Mercedes-Benz made the necessary improvements and now this is considered one of the best luxury compact cars ever made. They are affordable, solidly built, reliable, and offered in the AMG version for owners who want a more driver-focused model.
Another solid car is a 2011 CLS. The CLS-Class is a series of executive sedans originally introduced by Mercedes-Benz in the early 2000s. The CLS is positioned between the S-Class and the E-Class and its meant to compete with the Audi A7 and BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. The 2011 is a great buy because it has excellent interior styling, a comfortable interior, and a super-reliable 5.5-liter engine that cranks out 382 hp.
Lastly, we’ll review the 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class. The SLK-Class certainly pushes the boundaries of age but its timeless design and retractable convertible roof is still very attractive. With these, drivers have the option of a hard-top down or as a coupe. It has heated leather seats and streamlined body. This 3.0-liter V6 has 228 hp but can still really move. The SLK-Class is nothing short of being a genuine driver’s car.
