New partnerships are meant to help grow a business or answer current business needs. Today’s car market demands that manufacturers not only have safe and reliable cars but also ones that have the best technology. To stay competitive Porsche decided to take on a new business partner. Their newest partnership is with a company called ScreenHits TV.
ScreenHits TV will allow Porsche owners to stream film and TV on built-in screens. This function will allow Porsche owners across 56 countries to access their favorite streaming services like Disney+ and Amazon Prime as well as live TV. Thousands of shows, movies, and channels will now be available inside Porsche cars! Porsche said that when the Cayenne SUV launches in April drivers will be allowed to stream on the central display when the car is stationary, and on the passenger display – not visible to the driver – while moving.
ScreenHits TV is a diverse, female-owned media tech company. They are currently available in 59 markets and in 30 languages with more than 1,000 premium streaming catalogs and fast channels in market on Android Smart TVs, TCL, Metz, Android and iOS mobile and tablet apps. Founder and CEO of ScreenHits TV said, “it has been such an honor to work with Porsche on bringing video streaming to vehicles and I congratulate large companies, like Porsche, in supporting female innovation in the automotive industry. I will forever be grateful to Porsche and the VW group for the opportunity to provide our premium product to their customer base.” ScreenHits TV has also stated that more announcements with major automotive brands are forthcoming.
Porsche’s partnership with ScreenHits TV is a big win for both parties as it helps Porsche stay competitive in an everchanging car market and it paves the way for future partnerships for the up and coming ScreenHits TV brand.
