Hello and welcome back to our blog. We hope you, our valued Midtown Autoworks customers, are staying healthy and safe. Today we are going to talk a little bit more about the Taycan. We have talked about Porsche’s first EV in the past and today we are going to do the same. The only difference is that today we are going to focus on the Taycan 4S. So, let us get started.
Let us start with the fact that the Taycan 4S looks just as good as any Taycan. Meaning that every Taycan looks effectively identical. Compared to let us say, the 911, where spending more on a Turbo or GT3 buys visual differentiation. With the Taycan, you will be getting essentially the same look which is great because that means every trim of Taycan is an equally fine-looking automobile.
The other plus side, if you are looking for a sportier feel, is that the Taycan 4S feels more like a sports car than a sedan even though it has four doors. In fact, we can prove it to you. The Taycan 4S matches the 997-generation 911 Turbo’s acceleration, and it turns and stops on par with the current 718 Spyder. The Taycan 4S is without a doubt fast, racy, and gives you that authentic Porsche-sporty feel.
Yes, there are a lot of great things to highlight about the Taycan 4S but we have to be honest. There are also some downsides to this car. For example, the sub-200-mile highway range is definitely not idea. Similarly, the six-figure starting price is arguably a stretch given that this is Porsche’s first go at an EV. That being said all cars have low points. You just have to determine whether the pros outweigh the cons.
