The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany is a place all Porsche enthusiasts should visit. It is full of history, architecture, and of course a bunch of Porsche cars that you can only find there! The iconic museum is a little over ten years old and becoming more popular year after year. Today we are going to highlight a few of the coolest things you will be able to find in the Porsche Museum.

The very first Porsche car that was ever built is in the Porsche Museum. It is a star attraction as many people travel from around the world just to see this one single car. Its low-slung shape has been restored to as it was when it first hit the road in 1948. Many of the mechanicals are made from modified Volkswagen Type 1 parts with the pedals that still sport VW logos.

The very first Porsche racing car is also on display at the Porsche Museum. The Porsche 550 Spyder combines an aluminum body with a mid-mounted engine for optimum weight distribution. The first race it entered was the Nurburgring Eifel Race in May of 1953.

The Porsche 956 is a fun attraction because it is displayed upside-down in the museum. It is displayed like this because it demonstrates just how much downforce it produces. The inverted display highlights that it could technically drive upside-down. A fun attraction that not many are expecting when they walk in.

The Porsche Museum has so much to see and is fascinating for all Porsche fans. The museum tour usually lasts an hour and a factory tour usually lasts an hour and a half. A fun outing if you love all things Porsche.
