Big things are coming in the year 2022 and the Porsche 911 GTS is one of them. According to many, next year’s Porsche 911 GTS is the best new 911 you can buy. Besides the fact that it is the newest 911 that will hit the market here are some other reasons why many believe this one is better than any other.

Porsche uses the GTS name to denote the top of the “regular” Carrera line. So, Porsche basically took the Carrera S and made it sporty with things like thirty extra horsepower, 10mm lower sport suspension, larger brakes from the 911 Turbo, center lock wheels, and an electronically locking rear differential as standard. With that Porsche also removed some sound deadening material to drop the weight of the car and up the dynamic decibels. This unique combination is what makes next year’s model so unique.

Along with that Porsche differentiates the GTS from its S sibling with new exterior and interior aesthetics. The Sport Design aero package is made standard with light housings, exhaust tips, and badging blacked out. Inside the seats, door handles, shifter, and steering wheel is trimmed in suede which Porsche calls “Race-Tex”. Models with the special Interior Package will include an interior that is decked out in either Carmine Red or Chalk.

Test drivers say that on the fun roads the moving parts all felt great. Things like the steering wheel, shifter, and pedals all made them feel like they were in full control and knew what was happening with the car. Comfort was excellent and the sound was great due to the removed deadening and deleted rear seats in the rear. Test drivers said these changes really livened the car up.
